As part of our legendary Bridge Run After Party, Bay Street Biergarten is bringing a taste of Wies’n to Charleston with a special Halfway to Oktoberfest Stein Hoisting Competition.

Consider this your official preview of our 13th Annual Oktoberfest celebration happening this fall — because we don’t wait until September to raise a liter.

We will be running one Men’s Heat and one Women’s Heat, with a maximum of 20 competitors per heat. Once spots are gone, they are gone.

Competition will begin between 2:00–3:00 PM on March 28 during our Bridge Run After Party festivities.

Expect high energy, a loud crowd, and serious strength. Arms locked. Stein straight. No bending. Last one holding wins.

Prizes will be awarded to the top competitors in each division and a FREE entry to our final Okotberfest celebration stein hoisting competition!

From 10AM until close, we’re transforming Bay Street into the ultimate post-race celebration. Think neon colors, island vibes, Miami Vice energy, and Bay Street chaos done right.

Cool-down stations, drink specials, brand activations, and a preview of the biggest bier festival on the peninsula.
