Need a break from the Folkfest crowds, heat, and walking? Step into Pop Cultured and help us build Lowell . . . one little brick at a time.
During Lowell Folk Festival, we're transforming our game room into Brickworks, a collaborative LEGO city inspired by Lowell's history, landmarks, and your imagination. Using thousands of bricks from our collection, visitors of all ages are invited to create a building, vehicle, monument, park, creature, or anything else they can dream up and add it to our growing city.
We'll have some building block art on display for inspiration, create versions of familiar Lowell landmarks, contribute your own creation, and watch the city grow throughout the weekend as hundreds of festival-goers leave their mark.
Free and open to all ages during regular store hours:
Friday: 11am to 8pm
Sat & Sunday: 11am to 5pm
Pop Cultured is located through the brick tunnel at 58 Prescott Street, just across the footbridge from MCC and right on the edge of the downtown Folk Festival action.
