This show features:
Harmonica Sunbeam, The Comedy Queen, has been delighting audiences at nightclubs, cabarets, and fundraising events throughout the United States and abroad for over 27 years. Miss Sunbeam showcases her unique ability to uplift, encourage and engage children through the Drag Story Hour program where drag queens go into libraries, bookstores, festivals and other events to read books to kids of all ages. Since the inception of DQSH in the New York area, Miss Sunbeam has been featured in the NY Times and also interviewed for a now viral video on Buzzfeed.
Calvin Cato was named one of Time Out New York’s Queer Comics of Color to Watch Out For. His comedy has been featured in numerous festivals including San Francisco Sketchfest, Austin’s Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, Brooklyn Pride, Gotham Storytelling Festival, FlameCon, and the Women in Comedy Festival. In addition, you may have heard him overshare on popular podcasts including Keith and The Girl, The Beige Philip Show, RISK!, Guys We F*cked, Las Culturistas, Tinder Tales or the video game themed podcast he co-produced called the Playable Characters Podcast (featured in AV Club and Splitsider). Most recently, Calvin was published in Kweendom, an anthology of essays by queer comedians and entertainers. Published in early 2021, the book is available on Amazon and other online book retailers.
Daryn Stephanie Passarello is an accomplished Multi-award-winning producer/content creator and comedian with 20+ years of experience in entertainment. A New York native, Daryn started her career right out of high school at the age of 18 playing "Nitro G" on Stan Lee/Sy-Fy Channel's "Who Wants to be a Superhero." She also formed Starheart Daydreamers, a creative collective; and is Creator of "Ground Control", an original series / IP, Host / Co-Producer of Coffee & Mayhem, a podcast on TuneIn, Co-Founder of Angels of Mayhem, a multi-award winning creative studio with a mission to serve as an incubator for original content.
Musical Guest
The IZM.’s first album, King For A Day, garnered him a placement in Spike Lee’s Da Sweet Blood of Jesus in 2015. In 2019, he released his inaugural house album, Black Boy Wonderment, and the latest release, 2022’s Mr. Saturday Night, follows in its path. In 2020, his music video for “Broken Like” received international film festival award nominations and recognition. The music video received the award for Best Dark Theme Short for New York-based Artist’s Forum Festival of the Moving Image and Gold Medal for Music Video Short for the Asia Southeast Short Film Festival.
