Indulge in a wonderful weekend of Sewing!Sew from Thursday through to Sunday.
Come and join in a weekend of sewing at a retreat that has been going strong for 15 years. Relax in the company of friends (old and new) with the same interests and a wealth of sewing knowledge. It’s a great opportunity to refine your sewing skills, try something new, fine-tune pattern fitting, finish off projects, grab a bargain from the trading table – and of course have a cuppa or glass of wine with your fellow sewers.
Bribie Island is connected to the mainland by a bridge, only about 75 minutes drive from Brisbane. The venue is just inland from the beach, within walking distance to shops and cafés.
The facility is all on ground level (no steps) with easy access for unloading equipment. Facilities include a swimming pool and outdoor entertaining areas. Accommodation is in basic 8 bed dormitories - BYO bedding.
Catering is provided by CWA ladies who prepare full cooked breakfast, home baked goodies for morning and afternoon tea, lunch, dinner and dessert with tea/coffee always available. And the fabulous ladies cater for all dietary requirements you could think of!
Open to non-members so you can bring along a friend.
