Briant Gibb is a fellow rucksack wanderer of the snowy west; Reno to be exact. Lyrics possess a hidden charm for Briant and he often recites stories, humor, irony into his own performances. Influenced largely by Delta Mississippi Blues, West Texas Blues, and poetic musings of Bob Dylan, Townes Van Zandt, Leonard Cohen and Tom Waits. Like the artist Tom Waits suggests musicians secrete what they are constantly absorbed by. Briant's greatest achievements in music is performing for an acoustic series at the Sierra Arts Foundation - Reno Artown Summer 2015. He also performed at a Multicultural Festival of July 2016 with other singer songwriters. He has collaborated with other artists and is currently turning his poetry into recorded spoken word acts.
