THE JAM NEST welcomes BRIANNA BARNES for an acoustic set featuring songs from her album, HIEROPHANIES:MANIFESTATIONS OF THE SACRED, and her new musical, RATHSKELLER: A MUSICAL ELIXIR, along with some new songs making their concert debut!

Come for an intimate set featuring percussion by Danny Best and guitar by Peter Okkerse.

BRIANNA BARNES is a multidimensional artist based in New York City. A prolific singer-songwriter, actress, playwright and composer/lyricist, Brianna believes in using every tool in her toolkit to bring stories to life.

She has performed principal roles in musical productions all over the country as well as a National Tour. She directed and produced her first original musical, Let There Be Light, which won Best Musical and Best Score at The New York Theatre Festival in 2018. She has headlined at iconic NYC music venues like The Green Room 42 and The Cutting Room with her solo show of original music.

Brianna is currently writing her next musical, The Presence, and recently joined the team as Composer/Lyricist of the new musical, Rathskeller (Dame Productions), which made its NYC debut this Fall at The New Ohio Theater.

Brianna is a Finalist for The American Theatre Wing’s 2021 Jonathan Larson Grant.

Her debut album, HIEROPHANIES: MANIFESTATIONS OF THE SACRED, made the first round on the GRAMMY Awards® ballot for consideration under BEST CONTEMPORARY CHRISTIAN ALBUM. It was recorded at MONOLisa Studios in NYC during the pandemic with 3x GRAMMY® Winning Engineer, Denise Barbarita.
