BrianFest is an annual celebration of music held in Iowa City, Iowa, recognizing and honoring the life of Brian Cretzmeyer, a young and talented musician who died in 2009 at the age of 29.
The annual celebration serves as the primary fundraiser for the Brian Cretzmeyer Trust for Young Musicians, a 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to providing quality music instruction for children—especially those who might not otherwise have the opportunity.
BrianFest has always included a host of local bands and musicians, including many friends, bandmates and members of Brian’s music community.
