Seán Heely, Kevin Elam, and Jesse Ofgang form a powerhouse trio celebrating the living traditions of Irish and Scottish music. Their performances are rooted in deep tradition yet alive with spontaneity—driven by masterful musicianship, cultural insight, and a shared sense of joy and connection. Seán Heely is an award-winning fiddler, singer, harpist, and composer whose artistry moves effortlessly between Scottish and Irish traditions. A U.S. National Scottish Fiddle Champion and U.S. National Champion in Scottish Gaelic Song, he has been praised by Liz Carroll as “one powerhouse of a fiddler.” Seán has appeared at the Kennedy Center, Strathmore, and Festival Interceltique de Lorient, with his album Dramagical featured on BBC Radio nan Gàidheal, RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta, and NPR’s Thistle & Shamrock. A former Artist-in-Residence at Strathmore, he brings virtuosity and storytelling to the heart of the music.Kevin Elam is an All-Ireland Champion singer and multi-instrumentalist, awarded first place in Men’s Singing at the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann. Grounded in traditional balladry as well as jazz piano and choral music, Kevin brings exceptional nuance and warmth to every performance. His debut album If I Were a Small Bird highlights his command of traditional song, and he has also served as an Artist-in-Residence at Strathmore. Jesse Ofgang is a rare and versatile piper fluent on Great Highland bagpipes, uilleann pipes, border pipes, whistles, and percussion. A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a master’s degree in Scottish Music, he performed with the legendary Shotts & Dykehead Caledonia Pipe Band and was upgraded to the professional competitive grade at just 19. His piping has been featured on Blue Bloods, with Lady Moon, and through his work with the Red Hot Chili Pipers.
