We will be holding a run/walk to remember and honor Brian Lawton, a long time Flying Feet member who passed away earlier this year. Our event will be held at Wakefield (1000 Fenby Farm Road, Westminster) and it will begin at 8:30 on June 22nd.
The benefactor of the event is the Canine Humane Network. Brian and his wife, Mindy, were big supporters, and those of us who are planning this event thought it would be a good way to honor Brian. This dog rescue is a volunteer based organization that is working to find homes for up to 100 dogs at any given time. Their funding comes solely from donations, fundraisers and adoption fees. They will be bringing some adoptable dogs to add some joy to our event.
