JOIN US FOR THE BRIAN DEVERA MEMORIAL RUN FOR RECOVERY 5K!As many of you know, Brian and I lost our son, Clint to an overdose on Christmas Eve 2010. A few years later, his friends saw a flyer for the 1st Annual Streator Overdose Awareness Memorial Walk and we decided as a group to walk for Clint. Over 75 of Clint's family and friends put on "Gone Fishin'" shirts with his picture on them, attended the event and walked in his honor. It was an emotional and powerful day, and from that moment on, Brian and I knew we wanted to be a part of it. We have helped with this event ever since. Once we owned the gym, Brian came up with the idea of doing a 5k race along with the walk and Debbie made it happen. Brian was always so proud to be a part of both events and loved everything about it. Our family is honored and Brian would be so happy to know that Debbie is now doing this 5K in his memory.

The Edge will also give out SEPARATE 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes for our members.

I will have a sign-up sheet on the counter at the gym for you to sign up so that THE EDGE knows you are participating and you can give you T-shirt size. You will also need to sign up online at the following link.
