“John, Jim, and the James: Recreation in the Ozarks". The presentation highlights the history of outdoor recreation on Ozarks streams and how modern-day ecotourism is used for water quality outreach.
The presentation is filled with historic photos and accounts of the Owen Boat Line and their trips on the James and Upper White. I profile Jim Owen and highlight some of the unique aspects of their excursions. It’s a fun one!
