More known for writing folk songs about his native Canada, Brennen Sloan is a contemporary songwriter and a natural storyteller. Influenced by folk artists of the past like Gordon Lightfoot and John Denver, Brennen paints pictures of the lives of many ordinary people who struggled, thrived, loved and lost against the backdrop of the Canadian wilderness alongside songs about his own experiences dealing with pain and loss that are spread throughout his first album, “One For The Road.”
