Brennen Leigh is an American songwriter, guitar player, mandolin player and singer whose to-the-point storytelling style has elevated her to cult icon status in Europe, Scandinavia, across the United States, South America and the United Kingdom. Her songs have been recorded by Lee Ann Womack, Rodney Crowell, Sunny Sweeney, Charley Crockett, and many others. She has joined forces with Kelly Willis and Melissa Carper to form the "Wonder Women of Country." Opening for the trio will be Sally & The Hurts, an Americana roots band from North Central Kansas at 7:00 PM. Gate opens at 6:00 PM.
This concert is FREE and open to the public thanks to many great sponsors and donations. Find a Duck Jam bucket and drop a few bucks in to keep the series going!
Bring your own lawn chairs, picnic blankets, food, and drinks (alcohol is allowed, but open containers must stay within the perimeter of the stage). The Winfield Lion's Club and Soroptimists of Winfield will be selling food in the Soroptimist Pavilion just south of the stage.
