Breathwork, Reiki & Meditation
This event will introduce you to the power of conscious connected breathing, a practice that can help reduce stress, increase energy, and promote overall wellbeing, with the added bonus of guided mindfulness meditation and reiki healing.
During this in-person event, you will learn breathing techniques that can have a profound impact on your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. Whether you're new to breathwork, or looking to deepen your practice, this workshop is suitable for all levels.
Event Highlights:
- The session will begin with a guided meditation to allow the mind and body to settle, before an introduction and demonstration of the breathing technique, with space for any questions before we start the breathe, to ensure everyone gets the most out of the experience.
- Then, we will move into a 45-minute guided breathe, with hands-on acupressure from Nathan, and reiki healing from Natalie. You can expect group and individual guidance from Nathan & Natalie as they move around the room ensuring your safety, comfort and connection with the practice at all times.
- A powerful and carefully selected playlist will accompany you as you journey through the experience, ending with a deeply soothing savasana where profound feelings of relaxation, joy and gratitude are common.
- We will end by offering space for reflection and group sharing.

Practical Details:
- Mats will be provided, but please bring water, a blanket and a pillow/cushion.
- An eye mask will be nice to have.
- It is recommended to wear loose and comfortable clothing, with no buttons or zips above the waist, and no tightness or restriction around the abdomen.
- Avoid eating for at least 1-hour beforehand, if possible then 2-hours is even better.
- Stay well hydrated and drink plenty of water before and after the session.
- For best results, avoid alcohol, caffeine and any other intoxicants for at least 24-hours before the session.

Contraindications:
While breathwork can benefit many individuals, there are certain conditions where caution or avoidance may be necessary. Please be aware that the following conditions are contraindicated for Conscious Connected Breathing:
- History of seizures or epilepsy
- Pregnancy (first trimester)
- Detached retina or any eye condition which can be adversely affected by changes in internal pressure
- Psychotic episodes
About Nathan Ripley:
Nathan is the Founder & Joint Director of Respire Wellness, a Natural Lifestyle & Wellness Coach, and a trained Breathwork Facilitator through the renowned Breathguru. He is passionate about holding safe space for others and really thrives in this role. His calm nature is a testament to him as a person and the deep personal work he continues to do. With a history of depression and undiagnosed ADHD for many years, he comes from a place of having done the work himself, navigating his own challenges, and coming out the other side with a desire to help others thrive.
About Natalie Griffiths:
Natalie is the Joint Director of Respire Wellness, a qualified Mindfulness Teacher, a qualified Reiki 2 Practitioner, and a Member of The Mindfulness Association. She has a passion for helping others and supporting their wellbeing. She has a regular mindfulness practice and loves sharing the many benefits of mindfulness with others.
With a background in the training industry, Natalie has a unique blend of skills and experience that allows her to hold space safely, compassionately, and thoughtfully.
