About this Event
A 90-minute conscious connected breathwork practice to support in honoring, moving and expressing grief. This is a somatic practice incorporating guided breathwork, followed by a group share.
Conscious Connected Breathing (CCB) is a three-stage breathing technique in which the inhale is connected with the exhale without any pauses. The diaphragmatic breath is taken into the belly, the heart, filling up the full capacity of the lungs before slowly exhaling and immediately inhaling again.
This activates the sympathetic nervous system, allowing the suppressed emotional energy to move through the body through the release of tears, vocalization, and/or movement.
