Breathwork For Change: A New Year Intention Setting Workshop with Jill Martin

Most New Year intentions come from the thinking mind: what you think you should want, what you think you should be doing by now, or where you feel stuck and frustrated enough to crave something different. A lot of that thinking traces back to societal and family conditioning – the sense that by a certain age or stage, life should look a certain way.
When New Year intentions are made by thinking – purely at the level of decision – they tend to fall by the wayside within weeks, if not days.
This year, do things differently.
Over two hours, you’ll work through a journey of healing, clarity and transformation: connecting you more deeply to what you really want, clearing what’s in the way, and stepping into who you need to become to get it.
The breathwork itself is a Conscious Connected style: continuous circular breathing, no pause between inhale and exhale, guided throughout. Breath changes body chemistry fast. Breathing continuously shifts how much oxygen is moving through your system and opens access to altered states that talking or thinking alone rarely reach. In these states, what's stored in the body — old patterns, stuck emotion, beliefs you didn't choose — has room to move, and connection to higher aspects can be achieved.
Alongside the breathwork, Jill will bring in techniques from her training as a coach and healer, including neurolinguistic programming to help you let go of mental blockages, and embodied integration - where you’ll experience the version of you who carries your intentions forward.
Please note, this workshop will not include classic meditation or functional breathwork. Conscious Connected Breathwork can lead to altered states of consciousness, and deeply stored emotions and patterns can rise to the surface and be released. Wear comfortable, unrestricted clothing — there’s no movement component, but freedom of breath is key. If you can, keep your afternoon and evening clear afterwards to allow the process to settle and integrate; this quiet space can be an important part of the experience.
