Breathwork Familiarity // with Frances Anastasia KormpalaThis session is a mindset and body-centered practice.
Cultivate your awareness through your physical being, deepen your breath intimacy and self-knowing, explore your energy flow.
Let’s create a space to witness and be witnessed, together.

This is part of a recurring session series each month.
An exploration based on the fundamentals of Conscious Connected Breathwork/Rebirthing & Presence.
Honoring the energetic alchemy of the group’s interaction, we’ll also be exploring through movement/somatics and writing prompts. Uncovering internalized blocks and expanding to embody our truest desires. Often supported by music.
There will be shares and/or conversations expanding our understanding of Breathwork. As well as inward focus on the mat.
You are invited to join one or all three sessions.
My approach is gentle, the shifts profound and deep.

Integration, the process of allowing for shifts to rest within and deeply reset our ways, is further supported with recurring practice. The intention for these events is for you to join more than once so that there is a sturdier ''yes'' to what wants to come through for you; in your practice, in your relationships, in your life.
Through all our meetings we are priming the mind, studying and clearing out limiting beliefs, honing on our desires, embracing what we want to focus on and expand. To create concrete day-to-day and lifelong shifts. To align more with the heart.

What to expect:
These sessions can bring up a lot of inspiration as well as clarity. Many and all emotions may be experienced. Often, the practice of Breathwork is synonymous to an altered state of consciousness. This is because we practically shift our physical chemistry and have an intentional focus. It is an ancient practice that supports the human body’s natural processes of releasing toxins and to breathe in nourishment through energy.
The body and human form is intelligent. When you listen, that which needs attention becomes apparent.
BREATHWORK FAMILIARITY is a space for insight, self-knowing, and establishing ideas. A space to explore both resilience and delicacy.
Sometimes you just need a pause, to let your breath become freer. By joining these sessions tensions of physical, mental, and emotional types loosen.
BREATHWORK FAMILIARITY is a supportive space to:
* find clarity (eg when facing decision making)
* make changes in your life to match your authenticity
* be inspired by others
* inspire others with your sharings
* just rest and be for the evening
You are encouraged to continue expanding your support-network through ways that fit you, in addition to Breathwork. That may look like: talking to loved one’s, cultivating easeful relationships, seeing a therapist or a coach catering to your needs, commitment to physical practices, connecting to nature, creating art, spending time with animals, and more.
You get to CHOOSE what and how you wish to enhance your experience.
You are encouraged to follow what makes a desired impact on you. No matter how small or big.

Preparing for the session:
1. Avoid eating a (heavy) meal close before the session
2. Wear comfortable clothes
3. Strictly NO PERFUME or fragrances (essential oils are ok)
4. Make sure to have warm layers (temperature changes are to be expected - you may feel warm and cold at different points)
5. Bring a water bottle
6. A notebook and a pen
Optional:
* A blanket
* A pillow
* Eye mask
* Ear plugs
Arriving in the space:
Please show up with enough time to settle before we begin.
Showing up with the intention of inward focus, rather than regular social chatter, will set the group up best.
After the session:
You are advised to make time to reflect and be in a softer mode once the session is over. To ensure you’re integrating. And so that the positive work that you did is sustained.
Important/Contraindications:
1. For health reasons, fragrances (apart from essential oils) are not tolerated during breathwork events. If a participant is using perfume, cologne, and the like, they may kindly be asked to join another day.
2. If you suffer from heart issues, are pregnant, experience epilepsy, active ptsd, or severe medical conditions not listed here, reach out and we can discuss the best option for you as certain practices may create triggers or not be ideal for you.
3. Pregnant women benefit from breathwork sessions but it’s important to share about your condition beforehand.
4. This work is not a ‘’cure-all’’. It is however profound, if you’re called to dive deeper within your being. It supports truth & a deeper knowing.
