Breathwork Experience: Reset Your Nervous System
Curious about breathwork but not sure what to expect? This session is designed for everyday humans — no prior experience.
This guided breathwork journey uses intentional breathing patterns (similar to holotropic-style breathwork) to help your body release built-up stress, tension, and emotional load that we often don’t realise we’re carrying. Think of it as a deep reset for your nervous system — like hitting “refresh” on your mind and body.
Unlike meditation, you don’t need to “clear your mind” or sit still for hours. The breath does the work. Many people are surprised by how powerful and practical this experience feels.
What people often experience:
A noticeable reduction in stress and anxiety
Mental clarity and emotional release
A sense of calm, lightness, or grounded energy afterward
Better sleep and improved mood in the days following
Feeling more connected to themselves — without needing to talk it out
Some people have physical sensations, emotional shifts, or deep relaxation. Others simply feel clearer and more balanced. Every experience is different, and all of them are normal.
Why breathwork works:
Breathwork helps regulate the nervous system, increases oxygen flow, and allows the body to process stored tension and suppressed emotions — the kind that builds up from work stress, relationships, life pressure, or just being constantly “on.”

No experience needed. No belief system required. Just bring yourself, comfortable clothes, and a willingness to breathe.

What to bring:
- Mat
- pillows & blankets/sarong
- Water bottle
- Eye mask (if you wish)
Do not eat 2-3 hours prior
Contraindications:
Speak to your doctor first if you have or have had any of the following medical conditions or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Cardiovascular disease
Angina
Heart attack
High blood pressure
Glaucoma
Retinal detachments
Osteoporosis
Recent injury or surgery
History of panic attacks, psychosis, or disturbances
Severe mental illness
Seizure disorders
Family history of aneurysms
