Our next Breathwork & Sound Healing event will be on Saturday, September 20th at 6:30pm. The class costs $44, cash is preferred for the event. Space is limited to 12 openings, so reserve your spot early. If you have attended a previous event you may reserve a place by messaging us and paying on the night of the event. If you have not attended before then please stop by the store to pay and reserve your spot in advance.
Sound Healing and Breathwork are both effective methods for reducing stress and tension, increasing self-awareness and improving physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. When taken together, these two practices can be a powerful force for healing and transformation.
How Sound Healing and Breathwork works: Sound Healing uses sounds and vibrations to soothe and heal the body, mind and spirit. It uses instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, and even the human body by singing or sounding. Breathwork, also known as pranayama, is a practice that focuses on conscious breath control to calm and strengthen the mind and body. When they work together, and Sound Healing is taken with Breathwork, this can enhance the effect of both methods.
The sound can help to calm the breath and bring attention to the breathing. Conscious control of the breath can help allow the sound to enter the body more deeply and enhance the effect of the Sound Healing. The combination of Sound Healing and Breathwork can help to reduce stress and tension, relax the body, improve concentration and increase self-awareness. It can also help to treat sleep disorders, relieve depressions and strengthen your immune system.
