In this workshop:
Most of us are stuck on autopilot, and we're getting bounced around by our environment leaving us feeling wired but tired, imbalanced, and frazzled. These breathing practices offer many of the same benefits as meditation, but it's easier to learn, can be practiced anywhere, and the results are very predictable. The breathing techniques taught are a safe and natural way to quickly affect your autonomic nervous system.
These breathing techniques have been practiced for thousands of years, but this modern approach demystifies the practices and focuses on real-world science and results.
No experience necessary, these practices are accessible to everyone.
Here's What You'll Learn:
• Understanding and experiencing your breath as the most powerful regulator of your nervous system and wellbeing.
• Practical science-based Breath Coaching.
• Guiding you through different breathing patterns and techniques that will support you in finding your most aligned wellbeing rhythm.
• Exploring accessible and shorter breathing practices (5-15 minutes a day) that can shift your nervous system’s state within minutes.
- Morning Breathing – to wake up, prepare for exercise, and naturally energize
- Afternoon Breathing – to balance your nerves, and steady your mood any time
- Evening Breathing – to crush stress and anxiety, and to sleep better
• Guiding you through breath and lung capacity testing to set your own individual baseline.
Benefits
• Relieve stress
• Reduce anxiety
• Improve mental focus
• Boost digestion
• Improve sleep
• Balance your energy
