Breathe, Move, Make : Micro Notebooks

Make your own notebook to take with you for gathering or pressing flowers, a grocery list, a notepad for home, or an autograph book for your favourite Ottawa events! Try using found objects for stamping words, textures and more.

Breathe, Move, Make is a workshop where you can slow down, reconnect, and create from a calm place. We begin with a few steady breaths that help you arrive in the moment. Then we move into soft qigong movements that loosen tension and wake up your energy, and get you centred.

We'll then shift into a creative activity. It might be a collage, a mandala on an old record, or a small charm you can tuck into your pocket. There’s no pressure to “be artistic”—just space to explore, play with materials, and let your ideas take shape.By the end, you leave feeling lighter and grounded, holding something you made that reflects a part of your inner self.
