Breath of Our Ancestors Butoh Performance
Many cultures around the world believe that the veil between the world of the living and the spirit world thins in the autumn, especially near the beginning of November. In Mexico, it is Dias de los Muertos, and in Sicily, it is Un Journu re Muorti.
We welcome Butoh dancers Sandra Soto from Mexico and Chiara Clara Burgio from Sicily, as they perform at this time, dancing at the veil, hearing the breath of the ancestors.
