Friday :
UNLOCKING the BREATH
This class will help you understand the importance of optimising the breath as it is an incredible tool that has a very profound effect on one's life such as supporting energy, focus, relaxation, movement, immunity, sleep and mood. Unlocking your diaphragm and the surrounding areas will assist for a more functional breathing pattern. This will help connect to your core to support better movement/asana practices.
Saturday :
UNWINDING the BODY
This session will continue exploring the breath including pranayama practices and kriya. You will then be guided to unwind your body to connect deeper to how you move and breathe. This class will also focus on mobility, stability, strength and flexibility.
Sunday :
UNLEASHING the VOICE
This class is about freeing your voice through different exercises then applying this new found freedom when you learn a couple of traditional Chants (Mantras) Carmela will then lead a Yang to Yin flow.

About Carmela
Carmela Lacey began her yoga journey in 1996, studying extensively with Dr Monica Gauci and Gregor Maehle (www.chintamaniyoga.com), completing her first teacher training in 2002. She continues to educate herself with her teacher Dr Monica Gauci and numerous other teachers in all things yoga and movement. In her mid 20's she became a dedicated Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga practitioners for over 20 years. In her early forties, due to injuries and dysfunctional movement patterns (and perimenopause) she started exploring and practicing various movement modalities such as (Clinical) Pilates and Functional Movement to retrain her body back to strength and stability. She practices movement/asana daily as well as Mantra and Meditation techniques including Pranayama and Kriya. Her classes are a fusion of everything she has studied and continues to study and practice. Her purpose is to help students be mobile, stable, strong, flexible and guide students to the SELF utilising various techniques including the magic of Mantra.
