About this Event
Do you struggle to feel heard? Do you want to use your voice more but notice resistance or fear? Do you experience blockages with communication? Maybe you've been told that you "can't sing" (ouch!) and yet a part of you yearns to!
In this 3-hour workshop, Sabira and Briony will guide you to connect more to your body and your breath with the intention of freeing your voice! Whatever that looks like for you.
What to expect?
- Guided meditation on connecting to your voice
- Group work on your relationship to your voice, being heard and self-expression
- Breathwork to explore emotional blockages and mental fears/doubts/worries
- Voice activation through humming, toning and sighing
- Group voice work and singing
This workshop is for you if you want to explore more about reclaiming your voice - whether that's public speaking, or singing for joy, or feeling more confident in expressing yourself through sound.

*IMPORTANT* You will need to bring your own yoga mat, blanket and pillow as the venue does not provide these.
There are parking spaces on Withington Road and on the junction of Egerton Road South and Daventry Road. The venue is located at the end of a residential street, so we need to be mindful of our neighbours. There is good access to public transport, and the Fallowfield Loop runs just behind us, so most people walk or cycle.
