Breast Reconstruction Awareness (BRA) Education Evening

BRA Day is an internationally recognised day dedicated to the education and awareness of breast reconstruction after breast cancer surgery. Breast Cancer Foundation NZ partner with the specialist team of surgeons and nurses from Counties Manukau DHB to host this event.

You will learn learn about your options for breast reconstruction. You’ll hear about the different surgeries and the best timing for these, as well as what to expect from your recovery. You will get the answer to questions like, "What kind of surgery is right for me? When should I have breast reconstruction and What about my other breast?"

Following the presentations you will have the opportunity to speak directly with the surgeons, nurses and with other women who have had breast reconstruction.
