Join Dana and Alithia for a 2-hour “Breast Impression” workshop. An event to spark creativity and joy through art while promoting body positivity and self-awareness. The beauty of this workshop is that anyone can do it – you don’t need to be an artist or have any previous experience. The workshop will begin with gentle yoga and a meditation to support mind and body connection and appreciation. After we are warmed up, participants are invited to paint their breast and make an imprint on a canvas to take home. You will have a private space to create this print.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and this is a great time to become familiar with how your breasts normally look and feel for the early detection of breast cancer. You will also have the opportunity to reflect and journal your experience or offer a message of strength on a card to accompany the art you’ve created.
All supplies needed are provided with the registration fee.
