Join Breakthrough Teens and Midway for their annual Youth Empowerment Day! Last year, the Breakthrough Teen Mentors focused on topics such as self-care, healthy relationships, and mental health. This year, they are excited to shift gears and focus on leadership skills.
We will have representatives from various organizations, including the Boys and Girls Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and 100 Black Men, who will share their mentoring opportunities and the programs they provide for the youth. There will also be fun team bonding exercises hosted by Reconnect Inc. and Josh Jones.
Additionally, we will host a resume workshop to help attendees enhance their job application skills.
Event Highlights:
Breakfast will be provided in the morning.
Exciting giveaway prizes at the end of the event.
All activities and sessions are free of charge.
