Saturday May 4th, join us as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the movie BREAKIN’!!
This classic was Los Angeles’ first hip hop movie!
With Q&A and a live dj set from one of LA’s first hip hop dj’s @christheglovetaylor ! , who was in the movie!
The super producer behind Dr. Dre’s “Xxsplosive”, “Phone tap”, Snoops “Doggy dog world” and many more!
We partnered with Long Beach’s breakdance academy @acba_lbc , who teach the local youth the art of breakdancing. They will have sign ups for their next breakdance workshops for free!
Setting off the event we have all the b-boys favorite 45 dj @djabel77 & @fresh_goods_gallery of the FUNK FREAKS will be playing that pop lockin funk!
