Dr. Watlington received a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) and a bachelor’s degree from Franklin & Marshall College. Dr. Watlington has almost two decades of experience working with clients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and related disorders. Dr. Watlington currently serves as the president-elect of the Delaware Psychological Association and chair of its Diversity Committee. An energetic, passionate, and humorous public speaker, she has presented nationally on a variety of topics including trauma informed care, trauma-informed leadership, restorative practices, compassion fatigue, burnout, and racial trauma. She champions mental health awareness in communities of color, supports the wellbeing of those who work in the healthcare industry, and trains organizations on trauma-informed principles.
