About this Event

Breaking the Bamboo Ceiling: Empowering Asian Americans in the Workplace

Come join us at Fox Valley Tech | D. J. Bordini Center for an exciting workshop designed to shine a spotlight on the Asian American identity within the professional setting, addressing the challenges, stereotypes, and discrimination that often silence their talents.

In today's multicultural workforce, Asian Americans bring unique perspectives, talents, and leadership qualities. However, the pervasive stigma and historical experiences have led to the phenomenon known as the "bamboo ceiling," where Asian American professionals face barriers to advancement and leadership roles. This workshop is led by Sheng Lee Yang, MSW, LCSW, PMH-C from US 2 Behavioral Health, who has broken through barriers and achieved success.

Gain valuable insights, network with like-minded individuals, and be inspired to reach new heights in your career. Don't miss this chance to be part of a movement towards greater diversity and inclusion in the corporate world!
