Friendships come in all shapes and sizes; you'll see three incredible ensembles take the stage at The Lou Costello Room above Zissimos bar to make you laugh!

brings together a madcap group of Baltimore improvisers who all have some kind of pain in our lives - real physical pain, or even if someone you know is just a pain in the butt. They take that and make it funny.

is an all-female group that takes the stage with a flirty deconstruction. They have brought their own kind of glamour to stages in Baltimore and New York.

have wreaked havoc in the Baltimore improv scene since 2018. Their fast-paced show will bring down the house.

Doors will open at 6:45 pm, show starts at 7 pm. Free and paid street parking is available throughout the area.

What is an improv show, exactly?

Improv is live theater created spontaneously by the performers with the inspiration of the audience. Unless noted otherwise, it’s a comedy show, made even more exciting, intriguing, and hilarious by the fact that none of it is pre-scripted! At an improv show you’ll see a wide range of creative and fascinating humans perform a highwire act by making comedy out of thin air! It can take many forms, including short competitive games, slice of life scenes, and full length sitcom or movie style performances!

A Highwire Improv show is truly a once in a lifetime performance, never done before and never to be done again!

About the Venue:

The Lou Costello Room has been a mainstay of the Baltimore comedy scene for over a decade, regularly producing standup, improv, and sketch comedy shows in collaboration with many production companies. They also frequently host music and variety events from their location on Hampden's 36th Street, 'The Avenue!'
