Exclusively open to Worcestershire parent carer Dads, grandads or anyone who identifies as a man and supports a young person with additional needs or a disability.
This Free session is hosted by Worcestershire Parent Carer Forum and Own Time & Space and offers the chance to hear from Lee Burden - an experienced autism professional, autistic parent and autistic individual.
Lee Burden is a highly experienced external trainer who has been delivering engaging, high-quality autism training for over 20 years. With a career spanning more than three decades at Autism West Midlands, Lee brings a depth of knowledge and real-world expertise that enriches every session he delivers.
A specialist in Autism Awareness training and behavioural support, Lee has extensive experience in addressing behaviours of concern, equipping professionals with practical strategies and confidence in their approach. His training is grounded in both professional practice and lived experience.
As a late-diagnosed autistic individual, Lee offers a unique and powerful perspective, enabling him to connect authentically with audiences. By sharing his personal insights, he ensures sessions are not only informative but also meaningful and memorable.
Lee has successfully delivered training to a diverse range of audiences, including parents, social workers, teachers, emergency service personnel, carers including foster carers, and professionals working in museums, art galleries, shopping centres, and football clubs.
