What is Breaking Bands?
Breaking Bands is a monthly local and regional band showcase. At each Breaking Bands showcase, MadLife will present 3-4 new and rising bands who are making their mark on the music community.
This event is an evening dedicated to local and regional musicians, aspiring and professionals alike, giving them the opportunity to take our stage and present their performance and songwriting talents to an audience comprised of people who truly appreciate great bands, original music and live performances.
Breaking Bands, is an event for musicians presenting all musical genres. There are no age limitations, but all those taking MadLife’s stage should be skilled musicians. We encourage featured bands to perform original music, although that is not an absolute requirement.
Come out to MadLife to experience inspiring regional bands rising to take their place in the music industry. Support live and local music!

Mathew
Matthew Trautwein is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, and bandleader whose original music blends thoughtful lyricism with the raw energy of modern rock and Americana. Performing under the name Mathew, Trautwein creates songs that explore the complexities of everyday life, relationships, identity, and personal growth, delivering them with authenticity and emotional depth.

Kickin' and Screamin'
Kickin’ N Screamin’ is an Atlanta-based 80’s hair metal party band made up of members in their late 20s, bringing arena-level energy to local stages. Known for crowd interaction, humor, and full hair-metal visuals (spandex, big hair, cut-offs and all), the band turns every show into a party that keeps people engaged and buying drinks.
The band is gaining strong local attention following a guest appearance by lead singer Noah Smith with Steel Panther at Buckhead Theatre earlier this year and is eager to bring that momentum to more venues around Atlanta.
Kickin’ N Screamin’ regularly brings 40+ attendees in addition to the venue’s normal crowd and is known for grabbing attention from passersby, keeping audiences laughing, and delivering a high-energy show that appeals to both rock fans and casual bar crowds alike.
Midnight Blues Band
Hailing from Canton, Georgia, Midnight Blues Band delivers an electrifying blend of blues, blues-rock, and classic roots music that keeps audiences coming back for more. Built on soulful vocals, scorching guitar work, expressive harmonica, and a rock-solid rhythm section, the band brings the timeless spirit of the blues to every stage they play.
