About this Event
By 2030, all baby boomers will be over 65. Are Utah cities and towns preparing for their aging populations? The Utah Foundation’s review of over 200 general plans suggests that most are not.
In response, this discussion will explore practical, on-the-ground solutions – such as mobility, housing, and community engagement – to help communities adapt and thrive as their populations age.
Join the Utah Foundation for a light breakfast and a robust discussion, sponsored by HNTB.
The mobility panelists for this important event are:
- Trista Lawrence, Coordination Administrator at UTA
- Cissy Morton, Transportation Bureau Manager at Tooele County
Additional panelists to be announced soon.
Join us from 8:30 to 10:15 in Zions Bank’s Founders Room at 1 South Main Street, 18th Floor, Salt Lake City, UT 84111.
Thanks to our sponsor, HNTB, this event is free to the public. Thanks to Zions Bank for hosting.
