Potluck, Fellowship, Fire, and Live Worship. Bring your favorite dish to share for the Potluck that starts at 5pm. We will eat and fellowship. Live worship begins at 6:30. Make sure to bring a chair if you want a seat.
The story behind the event:
For a while now, God has put on Whitney and my heart to have worship events and host a place to invite people from Mechanicsville and our community around us. Whitney and her husband Rusty have the home with the yard and plenty of parking to host, and the Holy Spirit has been downloading a vision to me and Whitney at the same time of what this will look like. One night it was just a revelation of, ok, let's make this happen. We picked a date, and God got to work. My husband Scott Ellett will be leading worship with a band that God is putting together with him. We just want to obey and let God do the rest. We want time to eat together, fellowship, hang out and meet new friends and old friends. So we set a time aside to have the Potluck for that very reason. You can come and leave whenever you want, you don't have to make a full commitment. We are just excited to step out and offer the time for everyone to come together and see what the Holy Spirit has in store for Mechanicsville. This is a public event and open to anyone and everyone, from all walks of life. Invite your family, friends, or anyone you want to see there. We hope to see yall there!
