Proper bread should be made from just flour, water, yeast and salt – and nothing else! Our bread-making courses follow this ethos using locally milled stone ground flours to produce wonderfully delicious and nutritious bread. On this course, you’ll learn the basics of real bread from our master baker, make up to four different loaves – savoury and sweet – to take home and hopefully never go back to shop-bought bread again! All dough is hand kneaded. These courses are designed to be relaxed, informative and fun.
WHERE: Blackfriars Cookery School
TIMES: 9.30am to 4.30pm
COST: £160 per person which includes refreshments throughout the day, a set three course communal lunch (including vegetarian option) with wine in the Cookery School, your own apron, breads and recipes to take home. Places are only confirmed once paid in full and are non-refundable or transferable.
WHAT TO WEAR: Aprons are provided though please arrive in comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit messy.
