BRBC Science Forum

The 2025 Science Forum will be held on Wednesday May 7, 2025 at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) Heritage Hall.

This year's Science Forum will feature a keynote presentation from Dr. Steve Wiseman, University of Lethbridge on 6PPD-quinone: Toxicity overview and occurrence in urban runoff in Alberta. There will be presentations throughout the day as well as poster displays.

Presentations will be broken into the following sessions:

1. Exploring Methods of Aquatic and Riparian Assessment
2. Climate Change and Variability
3. Understanding Groundwater and Surface Water Interactions
4. Origins of the Bow River
5. Threats to Human Health and Aquatic Ecosystems
