Monday Samba with Império da Rainha – Live Drums & Authentic Brazilian Vibes
Join London's award-winning School of Samba, Império da Rainha, for an energetic and welcoming samba class every Monday evening at the Saw Swee Hock Centre (Basement Level), London School of Economics.
Whether you're starting your samba journey (beginner/improver) or already have experience, this open-level class is designed for everyone (not total beginners, though!). You'll learn authentic Brazilian samba no pé, develop rhythm, coordination, confidence, and fitness, all while dancing to the infectious sound of our live bateria (drum section).
More than just a dance class, Império da Rainha is a vibrant community that celebrates Brazilian culture, friendship, and self-expression. Expect plenty of smiles, great music, and a supportive atmosphere where everyone is welcome.
Class Time: 8:00pm – 9:00pm
Location: Saw Swee Hock Centre (Basement Level), LSE, London
Price: £12 per class (card payment only at the door)
Arrival: Please arrive 5 minutes before the class starts
No partner required. No previous experience necessary. Just bring comfortable clothes, trainers or dance shoes, and be ready to move.
