The JJC Percussion Ensemble recently had a wonderful session with guest percussion artist and educator Zachary Himelhoch. He and the students explored several styles of Afro-Cuban and Brazilian drumming including bembe, bata, guiro and samba reggae. Mr. Himelhoch will return to JJC on April 30th to present a workshop on Brazilian percussion (open to the public) and will perform as a featured guest artist with the JJC Percussion Ensemble on their May 11th concert.

The workshop will take place at Joliet Junior College Main Campus in the JJC Band Room (J-3035)
