Flavia Nascimento & Tio Chorinho bring together two of Canada’s top Brazilian roots music artists. Flávia, hailing from Bahia, is a prolific performer known for her soulful voice and boisterous presence. Tio Chorinho, Canada’s first ensemble dedicated to choro, charms audiences with their virtuosity and unique repertoire. Together, they explore Brazil’s original soul music along with their own original tunes. 🎸
ABOUT AMARELAS 🌺
Amarelas features the voices of four Brazilian women based in Vancouver, BC. Known for their lively performances, their repertoire includes original and cover songs spanning genres such as MPB, Samba, Forro, Bossa Nova, Jazz, and other rhythms. The group consists of Andrea Lobato (Guitar, Vocalist), Beta Cunha (Guitar, Vocalist), Juju Morais (Vocalist, Percussion), Mara Li (Vocalist), and special guests, including Mario Silva on bass and mandolin.
