Bravo Women 7.0

Bravo Women by Sunday Secret Sessions is an annual Ahmedabad-based event series celebrating women in the arts, featuring live music, performances, and recognition of female artists with awards. 

Led by Sunday Secret Sessions (SSS) and SSS Vocal Classes, the previous editions have highlighted women's unity, covering genres not only limited to music, but also inclusive of women in dance, baking, jewelry making, gardening, pottery, painters, authors and bikers.

Key Aspects of Bravo Women Events:

Purpose: To create a safe space for female artists to showcase their talent. Its a day celebrating an all female line up of artists and a space for networking and building a stronger community.  

Content: Features performances by women in music, sometimes including curated art, baking, or specialized workshops.

Organizers: Initiated by Sunday Secret Sessions, often held at local spots such as The Footlights Theatre, UFO Yoga studio or similar creative spaces.

Impact: All artists get paid. No matter how many songs performed. 

In the ticked Bravo Women shows 50% of ticket proceeds sponsor the performing artists, to support and encourage their creative endeavors.

Event History: The event has hosted multiple editions over the years ( 7th year in a row), consistently focusing on Women's Day celebrations.

The upcoming 7th edition of Bravo Women, focuses on empowering local female vocalists of various age demographic - with a 10 year old being the youngest, and 67 year old being the eldest performer to take the stage.  

A multi genre event focusing on covering other female artists in RnB, jazz, blues, pop, indie, folk, country and rock.
