BRAVE Moves is a monthly, in-person grief wellness gathering for bereaved mothers (miscarriage through adult child loss).
And now... we're bringing it to the Madison area.
BRAVE Moves isn’t about fitness or pushing through. It’s a gentle, grief-informed space to move with grief in a way that feels grounding, supportive, and empowering — together.
✨️ BRAVE Moves Madison's August Experience is Stand Up Paddleboard hosted at the Brittingham Boat House✨️
Join us for a beginner-friendly stand up paddleboarding experience. You can paddle, sit, kneel, stand, float, rest, or simply take in the fresh air and rhythm of the lake. This is about giving your body a gentle place to move with grief, not pushing yourself beyond what feels right.
📍 Location: Brittingham Boat House
701 W. Brittingham Place, Madison, WI
Every registered attendee receives:
- A Bereaved Together journal
- Light refreshments
- A movement and wellness experience
- A supportive community of fellow loss moms who understand
- A pampering care package to take home
This gathering is meant to feel welcoming, low-pressure, and beginner-friendly. No paddleboarding experience is needed.
Your registration is offered back to you when you show up: choose to have your fee refunded, rolled over to use the next month, or donate it back to Bereaved Together to help cover the costs of the session and gift it forward to another grieving mom.
Registration is required (limited space to protect the sacredness of the room).
