In collaboration with NC State University's Literacy and Community Initiative, we invite you to join us as we celebrate the writings and artwork of our refugee student authors and artists as they publish the 3rd volume of Brave Histories and Hopeful Futures: Voices of a Refugee Community! Our student authors and artists will share the narratives from their new book and the artwork they have created in collaboration with local artist Maria Geary at the NC Museum of Art.

The authors will perform a book reading, answer audience questions and participate in a book signing. Light refreshments will be served.
This event will be held at the East Wing Education Gallery and Auditorium in the North Carolina Museum of Art from 6:30pm-8:00pm. The art gallery and reception will be held from 6:30-7:15pm. The reading will begin at 7:15pm in the auditorium.
