Join us for an uplifting day of connection and creativity at our next BRAVE Communities Connection - April Showers Bring BRAVE Flowers, an empowering event brought to you by our remarkable Spring '24 BRAVE Young Leaders! This gathering is a reflection of our youth's hard work and dedication to understanding and advocating for environmental justice and mental health. Throughout the semester, they've immersed themselves in insightful discussions, hands-on activities, and impactful initiatives, cultivating a garden of leadership and compassion. This exciting gathering will feature insightful panel discussions, a fun "Paint Your Own Pot" activity, and a delightful Conversation Garden where meaningful exchanges bloom.
?️ Our panel discussions will bring together thought leaders, community advocates, and change-makers to explore topics such as resilience, unity, and empowerment within our communities. Gain valuable insights, share your experiences, and be inspired to make a difference.
? Unleash your artistic side with our "Paint Your Own Pot" station. Tap into your creativity as you decorate a flower pot, symbolizing growth, renewal, and the beauty of spring. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a first-time painter, this activity is sure to be a colorful and enjoyable experience.
? Step into our Conversation Garden, a tranquil space designed for meaningful connections and open dialogue. Engage in heartfelt conversations, forge new friendships, and cultivate a sense of belonging within our BRAVE community.
Refreshments provided. Free with RSVP. Invite your family, friends, and neighbors of all ages. DAWA Studios HQ is ADA accessible and walking distance within a CapMetro bus stop.
