Bratislava Discovery: Castlemania (from Vienna)

Medieval fortress exploration and open international networking night in Bratislava, Slovakia, conveniently starting and ending at Vienna Main Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof).

After getting off our train just outside Bratislava, we'll jump on a quick bus to the Danube/Morava confluence, where Devín castle looms tall and proud at on a strategic rock. Acknowledging its mighty presence from the in- and outside, we'll go look for a nearby Iron Curtain memorial and stroll through quaint and picturesque Devín village. A local bus then whisks us into present-age downtown where we sneak up Bratislava Castle on a hidden pathway to enjoy an unparalleled panorama over the capital.

Early dinner will be had at a modern food court with tasty, reasonably-priced food and beer.

Full and satisfied, we'll continue on to the International Night Bratislava for networking, games and fun. Right after this social highlight, we'll hop on our train back to Vienna, arriving shortly before midnight.
