GLL Bratislava Discovery: Castlemania (from Vienna)

Medieval fortress exploration, German Language Lab (GLL) and open international networking night in Bratislava, Slovakia, conveniently starting and ending at Vienna Main Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof).
After arriving in Bratislava, we will first explore Bratislava Castle with an unparalleled panorama over the capital. Afterwards, we will take a local bus to the Danube/Morava confluence, where Devín castle looms tall and proud at on a strategic rock. After acknowledging its mighty presence from the in- and outside, we'll go look for a nearby Iron Curtain memorial and stroll through quaint and picturesque Devín village, before returning back to Bratislava downtown.
Lunch will be had at a modern food court with tasty, reasonably-priced delicacies. After lunch, it's time for the German Language Lab. The German Language Lab is a casual pop-up study event for dedicated German learners to interact and practice their language skills in a stress-free setting. Event is facilitated by a native-speaking tutor who will guide the group through discussions and games. Suitable for levels A2-C1 and above, patient native speakers welcome too.
Following the German Language Lab, everyone has ~3 hours of free time to idependently explore the city. Suggested itinerary: Blue Church > Old Town > Main Square > Cumil > Hviezdoslav Square > Dinner at Slovak Pub or Flagship Restaurant.
Finally, the group will gather again at the International Night Bratislava for networking, games and fun. Right after this social highlight, we'll hop on our train back to Vienna, arriving shortly before midnight.
