Struggling to find friends, dealing with a missing parent, and trying to find strength in community, BRAT is inspired by the true stories and interviews of military "brats".
BRAT starts with the question “Where are you from?” and then leads us through snapshots of life as a military child moving from place to place on a journey of challenging experiences and discoveries all too familiar to service members and their families.
Bocón, a San Diego based theatre company, will present two free
readings of the play BRAT, written by Wendy Maples and directed by Carla Nell
on Saturday, June 10 at 6PM and Sunday June 11 at 2PM at San Diego Writers Ink located in Liberty Station at 2730 Historic Decatur Rd #204, San Diego, CA
