Brassworks 2026

Get ready to be blown away as we celebrate FIVE years of Woolwich Works a day of live music, performances and family-friendly fun.
From marching bands and Balkan beats to jazz, funk, Afrobeat and everything in between, Brassworks brings together an exciting mix of artists who are redefining what brass music can be.
Woolwich has brass in its DNA. Home to the legendary Arsenal artillery bands and now a thriving hub for world-class musicians, including the National Youth Jazz Orchestra (NYJO), it's the perfect place to celebrate the sounds that have shaped this corner of south-east London for generations.
Expect live performances throughout the day, pop-up moments, workshops and plenty of opportunities to get involved. Whether you're discovering brass music for the first time or you're a lifelong fan, there's something for everyone. Expect the unexpected: eclectic, fearless, genre-defying and, of course, gloriously loud!
Set in the beautiful outdoor courtyard at Woolwich Works, Brassworks is as much about the atmosphere as it is the music. Grab something to eat or drink, relax beneath the stretch tent, challenge friends to a few garden games and enjoy an unforgettable soundtrack from afternoon into the evening.
Bold, joyful and completely free.
Workshops from 10:30am
Parade through Woolwich from 12pm
Courtyard Stage from 1pm - 9pm
Artists include Crystal Palace Band, DJ BobaFatt, NYJO Miles Davis 100, NYJO Second Line, Ramshacklicious Mr Burn, Brass Funkeys, Balkanatics and headliners Kongo Dia Ntotila
