Lynden Players and Hooky Brass Band unite to bring BRASSED OFF to life on stageThe Lynden Players are bringing the powerful and much-loved play Brassed Off to Middleton Cheney Village Hall from 7-9 May 2026, featuring live music performed by Hook Norton Brass Band.
Based on the iconic 1996 British film starring Pete Postlethwaite, Brassed Off tells the story of a mining town fighting to keep its brass band alive as pit closures threaten its future. Funny, emotional, and still deeply relevant some 30 years later, the play explores community spirit, resilience, and the unifying power of music.
Performances take place from 7-9 May 2026 from 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm at Middleton Cheney Village Hall. Tickets available from www.ticketsource.co.uk/lyndenplayers
