Brass Magic is back at Madrone Art Bar!Tuesday, January 27th!
For years, Brass Magic had a weekly residency at Madrone Art Bar. It's been some time since, and the band is in town to run it back once more.
"Brass Magic, an 8-piece horn band out of Oakland, infuses their sound with hip hop, rock, world, soul, electronic, and pretty much anything they hear & like. The horns sometimes stand in for synthesizers or effects, and the versatile ability of the musicians creates a full and modern sound. These guys’ll make you dance your ass off."
All donations will be going directly to Oscar Myers, a San Francisco-based musician who's been playing at Madrone for over a decade. In October 2025, Oscar suffered a stroke and faces a long road of medical treatment, rehabilitation, and ongoing care.
These donations will be going towards:
Immediate and long-term rehabilitation therapy
Medical expenses not covered by insurance
In-home care and mobility support during recovery
Transportation to therapy and follow-up appointments
Everyday living costs while Oscar focuses on healing
