You’ll love what Dr. Sharon Huff and the Brass Band of Central Illinois have in store for you at our next concert! The Beatles’ All You Need Is Love provides inspiration for an evening of sonic delights designed to lift your spirits and show us the power of connecting to each other through music. Our concert features one of the instruments we love most: the trombone! Dr. Brittany Lasch, world class soloist and trombone professor at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, demonstrates her technical virtuosity in “The Truth” from Servant of Peace and Shout!, while You Raise Me Up showcases her tender tone. Dr. Lasch will be joined by the BBCI trombones for Razzazza Mazzazza – which they’ll all play with pizzazz-a! We round out the evening of sweet treats with Confection for Brass and several rousing and inspirational selections from the Salvation Army Brass Band repertoire. We’d love to see you on May 18th!
